About Lubricants Blending Plant in Tuas
Located in Singapore and launched in 2015, the Lubricants Blending Plant in Tuas is a major global hub, boosting lubricants supply in the Asia-Pacific region, which represents more than 40% of TotalEnergies’ worldwide lubricants demand.
Occupying 5.3 hectares of land space, the two-storey plant was designed to optimise ground surface with volume generated per square meter four times higher than other plants. Systems are fully automated to achieve high productivity and efficiency. The plant has the blending capacity of 310,000 MT/year, producing a wide range of lubricants for automotive, industrial and marine applications.

Solarization Projects of Singapore Tuas Plant
The new solar photovoltaic system was installed by Total Solar Distributed Generation Asia. Equipped with 3,682 solar panels, this installation is designed to generate 1,511 Megawatt hours of electricity per year, covering 35% of the site’s energy needs, reducing its reliance on traditional fuels and avoiding up to 528 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions a year.
