Petaling Jaya, 18 April 2023 – GoCar Malaysia, a leading on-demand mobility-as-a-service platform, has inked a partnership agreement with TotalEnergies Marketing Malaysia to launch Online-to-Offline offerings for local car owners, including TotalEnergies’ lubricants and expertise via the GoCar Garage network. The strategic partnership will enable both companies to widen their customer reach and service networks, starting with the onboarding of TotalEnergies Quartz Auto Services workshops onto the GoCar mobile app.

This collaboration is in line with TotalEnergies’ ongoing digitalization drive to enhance consumer touchpoints across multiple channels. It will also accelerate the availability of GoCar Garage’s convenient one-stop solution for consumers to service, maintain and repair their cars, with the target of 200 locations nationwide by 2023.

GoCar Garage and its expanding network of Garage partners will offer TotalEnergies’ advanced Quartz lubricants that leverage breakthrough molecular technology to deliver optimum engine protection, efficiency and resilience. Building on 60 years of experience, Quartz lubricants have been formulated to meet a range of demands. Each formula undergoes thousands of hours of research, development and testing.

“At TotalEnergies, we have been at the forefront of driving digital innovation to offer greater value to our customers. Collaboration with GoCar Garage via GoCar app is in line with our focus to deliver quality lubricants through our partner workshops, directly to customers,” said Vincent Minard, Vice President – Lubricants, Specialties & B2B, TotalEnergies Asia Pacific Middle East.

Aimeric Ramadier, Vice President, Oceania & South East Asia, TotalEnergies added, “TotalEnergies is excited to partner with GoCar Garage as customer centricity is a priority for both companies. We are looking forward to expanding our collaboration with GoCar in other business areas to deliver even more added value to Malaysian auto customers.”

“We believe that the market is ripe for a new way of servicing a car, especially for off-warranty vehicles. One that is more convenient and affordable and at trusted service centers. This alliance with TotalEnergies will increase the availability of our seamless and transparent GoCar Garage services nationwide. Additionally, it will ensure we continue delivering quality to our customers, which is the cornerstone of our business,” said Nicholas Tan, President of GoCar.

Created to offer a seamless end-to-end car maintenance experience with transparent pricing structures, the GoCar Garage online platform allows customers to schedule service appointments, select services, pre-approve quotations before work begins and make payments, all through the GoCar mobile app. To access GoCar Garage, customers have the option to visit or download the GoCar mobile app.
