S-OIL TotalEnergies Lubricants Unveils New API SQ and ILSAC GF-7 Certified Engine Oils

Seoul, April 2, 2025 – S-OIL TotalEnergies Lubricants Co., Ltd. (STLC) announces the launch of its new engine oils that meet the latest API SQ and ILSAC GF-7 performance standards, set by the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the International Lubricants Standardization and Approval Committee (ILSAC). These latest products are designed to boost fuel efficiency and engine protection, offering drivers tangible benefits.

The new lineup includes:

  • TotalEnergies Quartz: Quartz 9000 XTRA Future XT, Quartz 9000 Future GF7, and Quartz 7000 Future GF7
  • S-OIL: S-OIL 7 EV HYBRID, S-OIL 7 RED #9 SQ, and S-OIL 7 RED #7 ECO SQ

These engine oils offer significantly improved timing chain wear protection, better low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) prevention and enhanced piston cleanliness. Notably, they optimize performance in modern gasoline engines by improving fuel economy and reducing emissions.
