Suva, December 19, 2022 – TotalEnergies Fiji inaugurated its Dual Pipeline Project in Suva, which enables the Company to expand its capacity to better serve its marine customers. The 1.3-kilometer dual fuel pipelines connect the TotalEnergies Walu Bay terminal to the Kings Wharf South and North fuel discharge and bunker points.

The Project was jointly launched by Hon. Shiri Gounder, Permanent Secretary for Ministry of Economy and Aimeric Ramadier, Vice President, Oceania and Southeast Asia, TotalEnergies Marketing and Services, at TotalEnergies Fiji’s head office and terminal in Walu Bay Suva.

The Fijian Government has always supported the energy sector given its linkages to development and our continuous pursuit of improving overall living standards in Fiji. The focus has always been on Energy Access, Energy Efficiency, Energy Sustainability and Energy Security and this project clearly supports these four important pillars,” said Shiri Gounder, Permanent Secretary for Ministry of Economy.
