TotalEnergies Fiji Inaugurates Dual Pipeline Project to Better Serve Marine Customers
Suva, December 19, 2022 – TotalEnergies Fiji inaugurated its Dual Pipeline Project in Suva, which enables the Company to expand its capacity to better serve its marine customers. The 1.3-kilometer dual fuel pipelines connect the TotalEnergies Walu Bay terminal to the Kings Wharf South and North fuel discharge and bunker points.
The Project was jointly launched by Hon. Shiri Gounder, Permanent Secretary for Ministry of Economy and Aimeric Ramadier, Vice President, Oceania and Southeast Asia, TotalEnergies Marketing and Services, at TotalEnergies Fiji’s head office and terminal in Walu Bay Suva.
The construction of the pipelines is part of TotalEnergies Fiji’s upgrading program which includes fuel terminals and refueling facilities at its retail and B2B network. The pipelines were commissioned upon the receipt of 5,000MT of fuel from medium range (MR) tanker “HSL ANNA” on the 21st of November.
