
Can Tho, 20 May 2025 – TotalEnergies Vietnam together with Can Tho University (CTU) to promote “Helmet 4 Life” initiative. This action is to promote road safety action amongst local community. Hundreds CTU undergraduates and lecturers participated in the half day road safety awareness session conducted by TotalEnergies Vietnam’s volunteers. Five hundred high quality helmets were presented to the University.
Vietnam is one of the three Asia Pacific countries selected for TotalEnergies’ global “Helmet4Life” initiative. Since October 2023, TotalEnergies Vietnam volunteers have engaged 34 schools and universities, distributed 4,300 quality helmets to teachers and students who ride motorized two-wheelers. The campaign also includes road safety awareness sessions to emphasize the importance of protective equipment and safe riding.
“As a part of TotalEnergies Vietnam’s plan to promote road safety in all Vietnam, we are very happy to reach Can Tho and partner with Can Tho University for the “Helmet4Life” initiative. The program was great supported from the University’s Board of Directors and their Student Association. Road safety is one of the Company’s four priority focus areas for youths. Through “Helmet4Life”, we aim to create positive impacts by making our roads safer for all users, particularly young people,” said Hoang Tu Anh, VP Lubricants, TotalEnergies Marketing Vietnam.
