Many employees participated in the bingo game quiz on TotalEnergies’ biodiversity commitments to win the Diard & Duvaucel Book and French Film Festival movie tickets. It was a fun approach to engage staff on biodiversity! All the movie tickets were snapped up within 4 days.

Our employees volunteered at Food Bank's warehouse to sort incoming dried food donations, check for expiry dates, take inventory and pack food for 370 beneficiary centers.

Glad to see generous contributors and be part of this activity. I do encourage others to participate. To give back even just a little would mean a lot to the recipients!

Dear Colleagues
TotalEnergies in Singapore is pleased to partner Embassy of France; the National Library, Singapore; the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum at the National University of Singapore; and the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle, Paris, in presenting the book Diard & Duvaucel: French Natural History Drawings of Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Pierre-Médard Diard and Alfred Duvaucel, the two French naturalists who accompanied Stamford Raffles on his travels between 1818 and 1820, documented rich visual stories of the flora and fauna in Singapore, Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent.
The naturalists’ passion for biodiversity resonates with our commitment at TotalEnergies. We deploy essential resources to preserve biodiversity and the sustainability of ecosystems everywhere we operate in close partnership with local communities. As part of TotalEnergies Foundation’s focus on “Climate, Coastal Areas and Oceans”, we support biodiversity-related awareness initiatives, as well as youth education and research actions concerning the environment.
The Diard & Duvaucel book will be launched on 12 November 2021 (Friday) via Facebook Livestream at 3 – 4.30 pm as part of the annual vOilah! France Singapore Festival. As I will be away on an overseas trip, Nicolas Poulteney, TotalEnergies Gas & Power Asia, will represent. Steven Dickinson, Global Biodiversity Specialist of TotalEnergies, will also participate in the panel discussion on natural history and biodiversity. I welcome you to join this meaningful book launch!
Join a specially curated TotalEnergies’ Biodiversity Bingo Game! Stand to win the Diard & Duvaucel book and limited movie tickets of the French Film Festival!
Let’s contribute in raising awareness on biodiversity!
Ting Wee LIANG
Country Chair
TotalEnergies in Singapore
Dear Colleagues
You may wonder if there are underprivileged communities in Singapore, given her economic success and largely affluent population.
Here's the reality: 26% of households earn less than half of the national median income $5k+; families in 270+ public rental housing survive with less than $1.5k per month.
In conjunction with SG Cares Giving Week, we would like to invite staff to participate in the TotalEnergies' Season of Giving to fundraise for communities in need. Fully voluntarily, you can choose to support the cause(s) of your choice. All donations towards five of the selected NGO partners are eligible for a tax exemption deduction of 2.5 times the value.
How can you help?
- Click to donate to the NGOs of your choice
- You are encouraged to use your work email address, but of course if you prefer not to, it is perfectly fine too
Let's spread the cheers this holiday season!
